About Fr. AENE

A practicing member of a Golden Dawn temple in Denver, CO, I have practiced GD style magic for 16 years and consider myself a humble walker in the LVX of its wisdom. I am an active member of the Temple of Thoth Amen-Ra here and truly enjoy working with all of my fellow magicians.

During my mundane life I’m an SEO consultant, writer and editor. I spend most of my (non-magical) spare time reading, writing, backpacking, working out and spending time with my lovely wife.

    Hey there..
I am Dave from Salt Lake City and have been studying the occult since July 2011. There are many pagan & magick groups here but no Golden Dawn temple. Are there any people here that you know about interested in starting a group here? Also, what does it take to become a member, be initiated, and move through all the studies for someone like me who is not living in Denver? Could I use this to start something here? Thanks for your blog, I will be reading through it with interest.

      Ave Frater,

While our group does not do correspondence courses, and I don’t know of anyone in your area, there are other ways to get your own group started in SLC. Find some friends or persons with similar interests and start doing the rituals! You could also pick up a copy of Chic & Tabatha Cicero’s Self-Initiation into the Golden Dawn Tradition and start working through it on your own. If you ever do decide to move to Denver, our group would be happy to meet with you and see if you’d be a good fit.

      In LVX,
      Fr. AENE
